ProAgenda offers seamless integration with Stripe, allowing you to easily accept online payments from your clients. This FAQ will answer your questions about how this integration works and the associated costs.

Q: What is Stripe, and why does ProAgenda use it?

A: Stripe is a leading online payment processing platform that allows businesses to securely accept credit and debit card payments over the internet. ProAgenda integrates with Stripe to provide a reliable and trusted payment gateway for your clients when they book appointments or services through your ProAgenda platform.  

Q: How does the Stripe integration work with ProAgenda?

A: When a client makes a booking through your ProAgenda platform and chooses to pay online, they will be directed through a secure connection to Stripe to enter their payment details. Stripe handles the payment processing and then notifies ProAgenda once the transaction is complete. The funds are then typically deposited into your Stripe account according to your Stripe payout schedule.  

Costs

Q: What are the costs associated with using Stripe through ProAgenda?

A: There are two main types of costs to consider when using Stripe with ProAgenda:

  • Stripe Processing Fees: Stripe charges its own fees for processing payments. These fees vary depending on factors such as the client's location, card type, and transaction volume.   
  • ProAgenda Application Fee: In addition to Stripe's fees, ProAgenda charges a small application fee per booking for using the Stripe integration. This fee varies depending on your ProAgenda subscription plan.

Q: What are Stripe's processing fees?

A: Stripe's processing fees are determined by Stripe and are subject to change. We recommend visiting the official Stripe website www.stripe.com/pricing  for the most up-to-date information on their fees. ProAgenda does not control these fees.  

Q: What is ProAgenda's application fee per booking?

A: ProAgenda charges a small application fee on top of Stripe's processing fees for each booking made through the integrated payment system. This fee helps us maintain and improve the integration.

Q: How does the ProAgenda application fee differ per subscription plan?

A: The ProAgenda application fee per booking varies based on your subscription plan:

  • Base Plan: 1% of the total booking amount.*

  • Plus Plan: 0.75% of the total booking amount.*

  • Premium Plan: 0.5% of the total booking amount.*

    • Memberships 1% of each membership payment  (Only available in Premium)*

* Minimum of EUR 0.25

Q: Are there any other fees involved with the Stripe integration through ProAgenda?

A: No, ProAgenda's application fee and Stripe's processing fees are the primary costs associated with using the integrated payment system. ProAgenda does not charge any additional fees for enabling or using the Stripe integration.

Example Calculation

Let's say you have a booking for €100 and you are on the Plus Plan:

  1. Stripe Processing Fee: This will vary depending on Stripe's rates. For example, if Stripe charges 1.4% + €0.25 for European cards, the fee would be (€100 * 0.014) + €0.25 = €1.40 + €0.25 = €1.65.
  2. ProAgenda Application Fee (Plus Plan): 0.75% of €100 = €100 * 0.0075 = €0.75.
  3. Total Fees: €1.65 (Stripe) + €0.75 (ProAgenda) = €2.40.
  4. Net Amount Received (before any potential refunds or other Stripe fees): €100 - €2.40 = €97.60.
